Berlin Zoological Garden, commonly known as Zoo Berlin, is situated near the city center and easily accessible by public transportation. Founded in the mid-19th century, it has played a significant role in the cultural and recreational life of Berlin for generations. Story

Saturday, July 5 – We spent the day at the Berlin Zoo and its aquarium and reptile/amphibian house. The zoo is large and beautifully designed; highlights were the baby pandas and an elephant taking a bath. 

Cooper loved the playground area, he played for an hour while Savannah and Tara explored another section and Madi and I relaxed on the grass.
