Hype:
Mindways 3D TrickArt is a museum centered on optical illusion art, where perspective-based paintings transform flat surfaces into immersive 3D scenes. Visitors are encouraged to interact directly with the exhibits by posing, moving around, and taking photos that complete the illusion. Unlike traditional museums, touching and participation are essential parts of the experience.
The attraction appeals strongly to families, couples, friends, and social media enthusiasts because of its entertaining and visual nature. Clear floor markings and guidance make it easy to capture convincing illusion photos, and the visit is generally relaxed and self-paced, usually lasting between one and two hours.
Located in Hamburg, Mindways 3D TrickArt is an indoor activity, making it suitable in any weather and a convenient stop while exploring the city. Its central location and lighthearted atmosphere make it a popular choice for tourists seeking something creative and fun rather than educational or historical.

Jeremy Dye, Tara Dye, Savannah Dye, Madilyn Dye, Cooper Dye,
Monday, June 30 - We were all feeling tired from going full speed every day, so we took it a bit slower and didn’t leave the house until 10:00. We reserved bicycles and biked to the city center. We could only rent four bikes, so Cooper rode with me. At first he sat on my seat and was terrified because he was constantly afraid of falling off. Halfway through he switched to sitting on the front luggage rack. That made steering tricky because of the extra weight. Savannah broke into tears because she was scared to ride in the road with all the traffic. It ended up taking almost an hour to get there because we made some wrong turns, were figuring things out, and needed to console the kids.
Our first stop of the day was the Mindways 3D TrickArt Museum. It was meh. The one we went to in New Zealand was much better.
