Hype:

The Brandenburg Gate was commissioned in the late 18th century by Prussian King Frederick William II and designed by architect Carl Gotthard Langhans as a triumphal arch representing peace. Story

Our first stop was Brandenburg Gate, the city’s iconic monument. 

Cooper was very tired and just sat on the park bench rather than walking around. We went through the gate then headed south.
