Story

Driving east, we spotted a hilltop castle and detoured to discover Wernigerode Castle, with lavishly decorated rooms and sweeping views. 

We did all three loops through the different rooms. 

About halfway through, I learned photography wasn’t allowed, so my pictures cover only the first part. I guess I should have Google translated more of the signs.
